Spring through Fall finds us at our "basecamp" in Onancock on Virginia's Eastern Shore. The 1680 Colonial port is the perfect launch for Chesapeake Bay kayak camping trips, B&B adventure weekends and week-long expeditions along the 70-mile Seaside Water Trail, the Est Coast's longest undeveloped shoreline.
Three unique adventures created by Burnham Guides are centered around the virtually undiscovered Golfo Dulce and Osa Peninsula on the South Pacific Coast, one of the most biologically diverse places on Earth. Spend a week or more with us kayaking, rainforest hiking, practicing yoga, bird, dolphin and whale watching. Lodging is in comfortable eco-lodges with all meals provided. We'll return in December 2015 to offer trips three different ways:

Our annual Columbus Day weekend (Oct. 9-12, 2015) hike and bike trip is filled with fun, food and friends, during peak foliage season. Hike with the authors up Virginia's tallest peak and coast by bike down the Virginia Creeper Trail. A cozy lodge in the woods is our basecamp for hot showers, soft beds, yoga and frankly, some a
