There is truly no other place like it on Earth. The diverse environment of Everglades National Park ranges from coastal beaches to brackish mangrove swamp to freshwater sawgrass prairie. The birdlife is unparalleled, with literally hundreds of species. Our experienced guides can identify them all as we lead paddlers through mangrove mazes to fascinating interior routes, where camping is on chickees and ground sites, and out into the Gulf of Mexico to camp on gorgeous palm tree beaches.

• *Trips from Everglades City launch into the border of ENP and the Ten Thousand Islands NWR, giving you the opportunity to experience both.

8-day Wilderness Waterway

• Traverses the largest roadless area in the Lower 48, approximately 100 miles between Everglades City and Flamingo.

• Primitive camping on beaches, ground sites and chickees.

• This is a remote expedition for advanced paddlers, in good physical condition, able to paddle 15-20 miles a day for 8 days. You'll be asked for details on your paddling experience before signing up.

• Cost $2400. Includes sea kayaks, camping gear, meals, snacks, expert guide service, backcountry permit, camping fees, and shuttle between Flamingo and Everglades City (others charge $400-500 for shuttle alone).

• 10% discount for bringing your own sea kayak and camping gear (must be approved as appropriate for the expedition).

• Does not include airfare, NPS entrance fee, alcohol, guide gratuity.
