Yoga Multi-Day Trips
Includes sea kayak and gear, camping gear, all meals, 4 nights of camping, kayak instruction as needed, guide service and yoga sessions.
Traveling solo? You can join an existing trip, usually with no single supplement (exception is for trips that include lodging in addition to camping). However, we do have a two-person minimum to set a new multi-day trip. If you are the first person to request for a particular trip, we will advertise it and try to get a second person.
20% deposit required at time of booking. Balance due 30 days prior to launch and in non-refundable.
60-day notice is required for cancellation or deposit will not be returned. Deposit refund may be subject to a processing fee to cover credit card charges and any nonrefundable deposits we have made on your behalf. Trip Insurance is highly recommended to cover the cost of your entire trip: flight plus Burnham Guides trip.
Airfare is not included. Because we are meeting and returning to a campground, you will not need to get a hotel pre or post trip. Meet at camp near Big Pine Key on Friday, Feb. 7, 2020 in time for an afternoon yoga session, dinner and camping. Next morning we’ll load everything into the kayaks for a two-night expedition to a primitive island. Return to the land-based campground on Monday, Feb. 10, for dinner, evening yoga and camping. Depart Tuesday Feb. 11, after morning yoga and breakfast.
Closest airports: Key West is the closest, just 34 miles from camp. You can either rent a car, get a taxi or take the Greyhound bus. Miami and Ft. Lauderdale airports are also an option. The Keys Shuttle services both and will drop you off right at camp. Keep in mind it is a 2-3 hour drive.
What to bring?
We supply sea kayaks, life jackets, paddles, sprayskirt, and all camping and cooking gear. Let us know if you'd like to bring any of your own gear. Click here for the personal gear and clothing list of things you should bring.
Food & Alcohol
All meals & snacks are included. We strive to provide healthy, fresh, and nutritious meals, and to accommodate your dietary preferences and restrictions, be they allergies, vegetarian or gluten-free diets. But we do need to know about these well in advance for provisioning. As soon as trip is booked, you'll receive a detailed questionnaire to list dieterary restrictions and medical issues. Our insurance does not allow us to serve alcohol, but you are more than welcome to bring your own to enjoy at the end of the paddling day.
We practice Leave no Trace camping and along the way you can participate in a beach clean-up, logging hours as a volunteer on the Florida Keys Overseas Paddling Trail.
