Fully-outfitted camping trips: Toast the sunset from an island campsite in the Keys, Everglades or Calusa Blueway. 3 to 12 days days. Burnham Guides is the ONLY outfitter guiding the full 120-mile Key Largo to Key West, plus the 100-mile Wilderness Waterway through the Everglades.

JANUARY - APRIL
Kayak, SUP and bike rentals on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
Chesapeake Bay, Barrier Islands, Ponies, Stand-up Paddleboarding, Kayak Fishing
Spring through Fall finds us at our "base camp" on Virginia's Eastern Shore. The paddling shop on Onancock Creek is the perfect launch for hourly kayak, SUP or bike rentals and fishing tours. Day trips range from 2-hours on Onancock Creek to full day trips to the barrier islands or the Chincoteague ponies. Or book a multi-day trip on the Chesapeake Bay, or Assateague Island National Seashore.
APRIL - OCTOBER
Corcovado, Golfo Dulce
Two unique adventures created by Burnham Guides are centered around the virtually undiscovered Golfo Dulce and Osa Peninsula on the South Pacific Coast, one of the most biologically diverse places on Earth. Spend a week or more with us kayaking around the Golfo Dulce, hiking Corcovado National Park, practicing yoga, bird, dolphin and wildlife watching. Optional: ziplining. Lodging is in comfortable eco-lodges with all meals provided.

We've always thought work should be fun, so early on we combined the things we love doing together--writing and the outdoors. Twenty-five years later, we have eight books, and our own outfitting business to take people to our favorite places.
